Description
The Katadyn Filter Element No. 5 is a high-quality replacement module for Katadyn water filter systems and reliably ensures hygienically safe drinking water – wherever the highest standards of water quality are required.
Microporous ceramic with firmly embedded silver reliably retains suspended particles, all harmful bacteria, and parasites such as Cryptosporidium and Giardia down to 0.2 microns in size. Silver quartz gravel inside has a disinfecting effect and inhibits recontamination during prolonged periods of non-use. Katadyn ceramic produces fresh drinking water without the use of chemicals. The filter is mechanically regenerable and therefore reusable.
